Reflecting on 1 year
Wyzendale began one year ago with a core team who brought incredible energy & grit during very uncertain times.
Our purpose from the start has been to create a progressive, dynamic design practice capable of providing all-encompassing support and being long-term partners to our clients.
Wyzendale’s project portfolio has grown tremendously over the past year and now includes a range of architecture projects in both Chicago and Detroit ranging from master planning to new construction, adaptive reuse, and public parks. For our perceived clients, we have completed projects ranging from content management to product photography (image above).
Wyzendale officially received its Minority-Owned Business (MBE) Certification from the City of Chicago in 2021.
We were also selected from a pool of 144 applicants to the approved technical assistance provider list for the City of Chicago’s Neighborhood Opportunity Fund (NOF) awardees. Wyzendale’s selection to this list illustrates our commitment to ensuring thoughtful, high-quality design accessible to all, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring projects that have a catalytic impact on their respective neighborhoods to life.
Throughout the year, we have collaborated with several architects and designers to further expand our roster of talent and capacity to deliver a range of built, experienced, and perceived projects.
We have recorded and published almost 20 new episodes of our podcast in which we interview our collaborators and amplify voices of our clients and peers. This podcast season, we also have product presentations from our showroom hosts. Check out our podcast on our YouTube channel.
The celebration…
The Wyzendale team in conjunction with our Client Freight to Plate, celebrated the year with an outdoor get together. Guests enjoyed music, food and beverages on the 85 degree day. Thank you to all the sponsors and vendors whom contributed to the party.
