Felix is the leader of the Wyzendale team and an experienced industry professional who leads all business development efforts. He initiates and cultivates relationships between clients, brokerages, and the design community at large. 

A native of Detroit, Felix has more than a decade of experience ranging from project designer and business development at commercial design firms to serving as a lead representative of a furniture manufacturer.

Felix is a true industry enthusiast whose volunteerism efforts strengthen the design community through various boards and committee involvement. He is a member of the Circle Donor and Emerge Affinity Group at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and he has also served as the Vice President of Membership for the International Interior Design Association.

Ali Siddique
Business Lead

Ali is a designer with just over a decade of experience completing projects of various scales and scope at some of the most prestigious architecture and design firms in Chicago. Ali is a passionate storyteller who takes great joy in learning about his clients, their story and vision to help them create an experience that resonates and inspires users.

Ali has a proven track record of using creative design solutions to help anchor the core moments of an experience. Most notably, Ali led the design and change management for a 254,000 SF project for a multi-company campus in Chicago’s Fulton Market that includes 36 different advertising agencies sharing a vertical campus in an agile working space with state-of-the art shared and dedicated production and support spaces. This was a unique project where multiple brands were to have a shared environment with no one brand being more or less represented and with some brands competing against others whilst others finding and embracing new synergies.

Ali is a founding member of the Burnham Council which is a product of the Chicago Central Area Committee’s commitment to creating equitable economic development in the City of Chicago and many of its forgotten Neighborhoods. He has worked on proposals for the South Branch of the Chicago River and the Austin Neighborhood.

Michael Barry, RA
Construction Lead

Michael brings 25 years of experience as an architect in Chicago. He focuses on the developer-driven, mixed-use and residential market from ground-up high-rise condominium construction to building renovations and conversions. His experience includes high- and mid-rise condominiums and high-end single-family homes at a variety of scales as well as commercial office and retail projects between 200,000 SF and 1.5 million SF of contiguous office space. Michael also serves as a project manager, ensuring his team has the support, critical awareness, and foresight to deliver successful projects.

As a registered Energy Professional and Licensed Architect, his extensive knowledge of the development, documentation, permitting and construction process enables him to easily speak to the specificity of the task at hand. 

Michael has also worked in the corporate interiors realm where his broad focus from large projects enables him to keep all aspects of design and construction process under control through both compressed and extended time frames alike.

Izzy Burlini

Izzy is a visual designer who uses her versatility and experience across digital and print content to create deliverables that propel businesses forward. She is highly organized, always up for a challenge, and adaptable to ensure project success.

After receiving a degree in an interdisciplinary design program, she has used her experience to provide a range of design solutions for businesses and clients, ranging from start-ups and non-profits to commercial corporations.

User experience is her constant guiding force, and Izzy constantly seeks to expand her abilities with inspiration from all facets of design. Largely influenced by the world around her, she maintains a keen professional and personal interest in product and interior design, fashion, and architecture.

Abigail Scott

Abigail Scott is an accomplished interior designer with extensive experience in large corporate interior projects, specifically in healthcare and workplace design. As a valued member of the Wyzendale team, she brings a unique perspective to each project, always placing the end user at the center of her design ethos.

Abigail is passionate about creating spaces that truly enhance the user’s experience, whether it be through improving functionality, enhancing comfort, or simply creating a more inviting atmosphere. She is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in her field. Abigail is currently studying for her final exams of the NCIDQ accreditation.

In her free time, Abigail is an avid shark enthusiast. She enjoys learning about the different species and their behaviors, and is committed to promoting conservation efforts to protect these incredible creatures.

Joe Leaming

Joe Leaming is an architectural designer with a wealth of experience in both commercial and residential projects. He is a valued member of the Wyzendale team, where he uses his technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions to unique project challenges.

With a keen eye for detail, Joe is able to seamlessly transition from working on the big picture of a project down to the nitty-gritty of construction. He is skilled in all aspects of architectural design, from concept development to construction documentation, and is well-versed in industry standards and best practices.

Outside of work, Joe has a passion for restoring vintage cars and furniture, which allows him to express his creativity in a different way. He is also committed to advancing his career and is currently studying to become licensed in his field.

Grace Kwon
Graphic Designer

Grace is a graphic designer with the Wyzendale Team. Her studies from the Art Institute of Chicago have given her the expertise in brand identity and visual communication. She is currently supporting the studio with environmental graphics and brand direction. Grace is passionate about the service industry and has ambitions of one day becoming a cafe owner and barista aficionado.

John Wea

A recent graduate of IIT. John’s studies in architecture have led him into taking an interest in construction and construction documentation. As an architectural designer with Wyzendale, John is able to provide support on the built projects from drawing creation to vendor coordination. Beyond his technical knowledge, John can produce a variety of hand sketches from teammates sharing a headset to the details of marina city towers.

Mayram is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with 5 years of design experience. At Wyzendale, her designer skills have been used on projects from schematic/concept design to construction documentation. She is passionate about how the space affects the end user and acknowledges her civic responsibility through extra curricular efforts. Her personal style and taste comes through not only in her designs but fashion sense too as a member of the Beyhive. 

Hope Wang

Hope Wang is a talented textile artist who plays an essential role as the creative liaison at Wyzendale. She provides the team with additional creative personnel resources and keeps them updated on the latest happenings and trends in the art world. In her personal practice, Hope focuses on aspects of the built environment, incorporating architectural elements and urban landscapes into her work. She is constantly pushing the boundaries of textile art and is currently pursuing the acquisition of a TC2 jacquard loom, which will allow her to explore new techniques and expand her creative capabilities.

Outside of her work, Hope is a lover of cats and enjoys spending time with her feline companions.


Brad Harvey

Brad Harvey is an accomplished copywriter with over a decade of experience in the industry. He believes that great creative work comes from having real ideas and a deep understanding of the brand and its customers. Brad's work has been recognized by numerous prestigious awards shows, including Cannes, One Show, and London International, among others.

At Wyzendale, he brings a unique perspective that allows brand strategies to be enhanced and translated into the built environment. His expertise in storytelling and branding helps to ensure that every project is not just aesthetically pleasing but also effectively communicates the brand's message. Outside of work, Brad enjoys a unique hobby of walking while golfing with a club cart.

 

Yeva Dashevsky

Wyznedale’s inhouse photographer/videographer, Yeva strives to contribute fresh, specific and bold ideas to projects from commercial and branded work to experimental fine art. A photographer and filmmaker with 10+ years of industry experience and a comprehensive skill set in both mediums, she is adept at taking projects of varying scopes from the initial stage of concept pre-visualization through production and post-production. 

Yeva’s work covers a range of genres from architectural, commercial and lifestyle to portraiture and documentary. Her process is focused on collaboration with each client, creating an environment that facilitates natural self expression and produces authentic and engaging storytelling.

When not making pictures or films, Yeva is an avid traveler, kettlebell enthusiast, voracious reader and proud plant parent.

Open Positions

Intermediate Designer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an Accredited University

  • Intent to pursue licensure, if not already acquired (licensed individuals will be prioritized)

  • Minimum of 7 years of actual work experience in commercial or retail interior architecture

  • Experience with corporate interior office projects, retail spaces and optionally clinic design covering multiple practice areas from design to detailed construction drawings and construction administration

  • Ability to wear multiple hats over a variety of projects such as being job captain for a project and simultaneously being lead designer on another project

  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach

  • Ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new ones through successful project delivery

  • Advanced Revit skills - should be able to look at a reference set and put together a set of drawings for a new space with some additional guidance.

  • Familiar with Bluebeam Studio and the collaborative workflow to drive client projects from concept through construction in a team setting

Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency with Revit

  • Competence with Adobe Suite

  • Experience with Bluebeam Studio

  • Familiarity with space planning methodology, ADA requirements & Codes

  • Knowledge of furnishings and finishes

  • Intermediate sketching and rendering skills

  • Intermediate interior architecture detailing skills

  • Working knowledge of Construction Documents and procedures

  • General understanding of local codes. Should be able to navigate various jurisdictions and their requirements around the country with help from the team and reference from Up Codes
